1) Cross Contamination Avoidance System/Color Coding System – I've worked for cleaning companies before and noticed some things I told myself I will make sure I would NEVER DO! When I clean the entire home, I use a color-coded cleaning system.
WHY? To make sure I don’t wipe your kitchen counter with the same sponge I used to wash your tub and toilet with.
I have witnessed this taking place with other cleaning companies. I have seen them use the same rags for multiple rooms which can spread germs and bacteria. Another thing I noticed was that there were only two cleaning/scrub sponges, one for the bathroom (which we were instructed to clean FIRST), and one for the kitchen (which was required to be cleaned second). These sponges were used by 3 different people and no one kept track of which was used on a toilet or not. Needless to say, I left that job.
By using a color-coded system, and not being stingy on the number of rags I use, it ensures thorough cleaning and disinfecting. For example: Yellow Dobie for the kitchen, Pink Dobie for the bathroom, OR Blue Microfiber Cloths for Floors, Lime Green Microfiber Cloths for Countertops, this way there is no confusion or cross contamination.
2) Low Turnover Rate – It's just me! You know who will be in your house EVERY TIME!
3) Personalized Services – I provide personalized services by using a checklist to see EXACTLY what needs cleaning in each room. When you pay for a package with cleaning companies, you are charged for a cleaning that you may not even need, AND miss out on things that need special attention.
4) Caring and Compassionate – Too many times I came across cleaners who always complained about customers’ homes, made fun of people’s homes, and made disgusting comments about people and their homes. I on the other hand like to have a positive attitude and definitely will not be judging any ONE or any one’s home, because that is disrespectful and unkind
5) Honest and Trustworthy – I don't steal anything (Not time, not food, no drinks, none of your belongings, etc.)
6) Hardworking and Understanding – I work straight through, I do not take “short cuts” (i.e. rising a shower because it looks clean), I usually don't take breaks; I'm a perfectionist, and I strive to deliver a high level of professionalism
7) Confidential and Judgment Free – I do not discuss client’s information to anyone, unless we both agreed I am allowed to promote service results; Like I said before I do not judge anyone for having a home that may be in disarray
8) Looking to Build A Professional Relationship – I am open to business questions, comments, or suggestions; They may sting a little, but I really appreciate honesty
9) Business Safety – Business will be insured in 2021; I take into consideration any scent allergies; I take into consideration if you have babies, or pets in your home, to determine what cleaners to use (or not use)
10) Experience – 20+ years of personal and professional experience (I have been cleaning and organizing for a long time!)
